Announcement: New Reporting Frequency for NBRC Grantees

NBRC has exciting news to share that will reduce the administrative burden for current grantees. In 2026, NBRC will move to requiring the submission of performance reports (SF-PPR) on a bi-annual cadence to comply with 2 CFR 200.329. This change will apply to all open awards.

Grantees using the Grants Management System:

  • Will need to acknowledge an Amendment Request in the GMS (following these step-by-step instructions). This Amendment Request will appear in the Pending Tasks section in early April. Please acknowledge the request by June 1 in order to switch to bi-annual reporting.

  • Once the step above is complete, please submit the next two quarterly reports as usual, due April 30 and July 30. The new bi-annual reporting schedule will begin July 1.

Grantees not using the Grants Management System:

  • Will receive a Grant Agreement Addendum. Upon receipt, you are automatically included in the new bi-annual reporting schedule. If you have not received the Grante Agreement Addendum by email, please contact admin@nbrc.gov.

  • Grantees must be caught up to the most current quarterly report which was due January 30, 2026 (covering the reporting period of September 1, 2025 – December 31, 2025).

  • All other reporting requirements, including the annual SF-425, remain unchanged and should be submitted on the dates outlined in your grant agreement.

  • If you’re unsure if your award is in compliance or if you have questions about this reporting change, please reach out to admin@nbrc.gov
