NBRC Program Applications
Congratulations on your invitation to submit an NBRC program application! The application process is open to prospective grantees who have successfully completed their pre-application requirements and have been invitied to advance to the application round. The following resources and workshops are designed to provide you with the assistance you need when applying for the NBRC's Catalyst, Forest Economy, or Timber for Transit programs.

Application Workshop #1: Budgets, Budgets, Budgets!
Virtual – Open only to entities invited to submit a full application
Thursday September 26, 2024 | 1-2:30 p.m.
Pre-Requisite: Interested applicants are encouraged to view pre-recorded Program Information Sessions before attending this Workshop Session.
In this workshop, NBRC staff will cover all budget related pre-application and application requirements, from calculating match to developing a budget narrative to completing the detailed SF424cbw budget, and more!

Application Workshop #2: The Technical Proposal – Approach and Methodology, Economic Impacts, Project Readiness, Capacity and Qualifications
Virtual – Open only to entities invited to submit a full application
Wednesday October 2, 2024 | 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Pre-Requisite: Interested applicants are encouraged to view the pre-recorded Program Information Session, and the Project Readiness pre-application workshop before attending this Workshop Sessions.
This session will focus on the elements of the technical proposal. NBRC staff will cover guidance and best practices for each of the narrative questions in the application. We will highlight what narrative information gets carried over from the pre-application. At completion, funded projects will be asked to report on the project’s success in meeting the goals and outcomes set at time of application. Application Workshop #3: Application Forms, Files and Checklists
Virtual – Open only to entities invited to submit a full application
Friday October 4, 2024 | 10:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Pre-Requisite: Interested applicants are encouraged to view the pre-recorded Program Information Session and the GMS Guidance Document for Creating and Submitting an Application before attending this Workshop Sessions.
This session will cover the required forms and files to be completed for application, and common mistakes to avoid. We’ll make sure you have the resources you need to check all the boxes.
