NBRC Celebrates Maine Workforce Effort

NBRC Federal Co-Chair Mark Scarano was invited to speak at the grand opening of the new Gene Haas Precision Machining Center at Central Maine Community College, Auburn, Maine. The Center, a 8,600 s/f renovation and extension of existing Communty College space, was funded through the Gene Haas Foundation, the US Economic Development Administration, and a $250,000 NBRC award in 2016. Considering the real need of employers for skilled machinists, the graduates of the program will be in high demand and should find immediate work.
